Risicovol spelen

“Kinderen kennen geen gevaar. De omgeving moet zo veilig mogelijk zijn voor hen.” Akkoord? Wij niet. Althans, niet zo zwart-wit.
In ons onderzoekproject RePLAY Toddler gingen we na welke risico’s peuters lopen en nemen in de kinderopvang. Onze focus lag daarbij op wat kinderbegeleiders nodig hebben om risicovol spelen te ondersteunen bij peuters. Samen met hen co-creëerden we allerlei praktische tools.
Tijdens deze online postersessie nemen we je mee in de inzichten die we opdeden tijdens ons onderzoeksproject en de talloze vormingen over risicovol spelen die we intussen gaven aan ouders, kinderbegeleiders, leerkrachten, preventieadviseurs en andere betrokkenen. Bovendien lichten we alvast een tipje van de sluier op over ons nieuwe onderzoeksproject dat is gestart in oktober 2023 in samenwerking met de Universiteit Gent en de Vrije Universiteit Brussel.
